New York Another Show?

Tiffany (New York) Pollard will be back with a third season of her VH1 reality show, this time sharing the bill with her ne'er-do-well boyfriend George (Tailor Made) Weisgerber."The season is going to be called 'New York Loves Hollywood' and will follow her attempt to become an actress in Los Angeles," says an insider."They are currently trying to cast established industry people in Hollywood to be on the show with her.

Couldn't VH1 waste their dollars on providing the public with a show that doesn't inducing vomit? I got the perfect series for the network. Flavor Flav's mother and Sister Patterson hook up and take the country by storm Oprah and Gayle's Big Adventure style.

NAACP Awards Pics

This year I watched the entire awards ceremony of NAACP, and I loved it. My chuckle for the night had to be the "Queen of Soul" Ms. Aretha. She had a tribute in which Tyler Perry used repeatly during his tribute speech. If I am not mistakened I think those jabs were at Bey.......Well to defend my Girl Beyonce. I don't think she meant it in a way of saying "Queen of Soul" We all know (heavy D) (biggums) Aretha has that title as she should. Beyonce introduced Tina as a Queen THAT'S IT! People! she didn't say Queen of Soul, Queen of Rock, Queen of R&B... she just said Queen.. Tina's a legend and in her own right is a Queen and deservant to be called a Queen.... I believe a person who got knocked out as much and as hard as she did by the late coke smoker Ike, and still be able to get back up and sell more than she did with him, is well deserved to have the title Queen..... But other than my chuckle from that. There was a tribute to Stevie Wonder which was awesome... sadly to say Wayne Brady did a great job. He was funny(shocker) entertaining, and didn't seem for that split moment like a Uncle Tom...I'm shocked! But overall the entire Awards show was memorable.

Girlfriends No Season Final

We hear from a source within the "Girlfriends" writing camp that the CW has decided to cancel the series immediately instead of bringing it back for a ninth season. While no official announcement had been made as of press time, we were told the CW will not even film this season's remaining nine episodes that were suspended during the writer's strike.

Ironically, news of the show's cancellation comes just as the strike has ended and the writing staff was preparing to return to work. We were informed by one of the writers yesterday that Monday night's one-hour block of new episodes served as the show's last.
