I am quite disgusted with such ignorance. We as black people took buses,signed petitions, gave money, cried,and prayed. Did all we could do as human beings for what? My mother said she hopes after all this that the people have done for them they don't mess up, and look? This almost makes you not want to support another cause like this again. This is crazy. 50 Cent Home of the Brave on DVD Today

MGM's Home of the Brave which stars Samuel L. Jackson, 50 Cent and Jessica Biel was released in theaters last year but quickly pulled. Word is due to internal issues at MGM this film was never given a proper chance. Now all you 50 Cent fans can get a chance to see him play Jamal, a U.S. soldier when the DVD comes out tomorrow. Jermaine Dupri got a new book out called Young, Rich and Dangerous: The Making of a Music Mogul. So in the book, Jermaine blames singing group Xscape's break-up on them being difficult. Well, former Xscape member Tameka went on Hot 97 and told Miss Jones the group broke up because Kandi was having some relations with Jermaine and tried to pull a Diana Ross move on them. Makes me think about that time I heard about how Kandi had beef in the studio with Destiny's Child when she co-wrote Bills, Bills, Bills, because Leyota Luckett's man was Kandi's ex.

Joumana And Jason Kidd's Divorce

Jason Kidd and his wife Joumana's divorce was real dirty in the begining, with each accusing the other of abuses. Then they made a truce to stop airing their dirty laundry in public and everything seemed civil between them. Not Anymore. Joumana just filed new documents in a New Jersey Family Court, claiming Jason makes "little effort" to spend regular time with his three kids and rarely calls them. When he does see them, his girlfriend- identified only as "Hope Christine" -- is "present during virtually all" of the visits, including spleepovers. The children "desperately wish to have their father's undivided attention," Joumana claims. As a result, Joumana wants a Bergen County divorce judge to bar Kidd from having anyone with whom he is "romantically involved" around during overnight visits. She claims Jason "has a long history of serial infidelity with numerous women" and is "just plain oblivious" to the impact of his behavior on the kids. Joumana says she is "extremely concerned" that his "insatiable" and "well-documented need for immediate self-gratification and lack of self-control" is hurting the kids. Jason, who last week was accused of groping a woman in a Manhattan nightclub, is fighting Joumana's move to keep his girlfriend out of the mix. Joumana, he argues, is "so blinded by her own emotions" over his "new relationship" she wants to control "who I see and to whom I expose our children to." Joumana's papers name a schoolteacher, guidance counselor and therapist to whom T.J. reportedly "expressed his upset" over the sleepovers. At school, she says, staffers have reported that T.J. has said, "My dad is a good liar."

Up and Coming Singer Found Dead in Recording Studio

Yolanda “La La” Brown, a 21-year-old R&B singer, was found shot to death along with her music producer boyfriend, JeTannue Clayborn, in their Milwaukee studio. Brown, best known for her appearance on the Lyfe Jennings song, “S.E.X.,” and Clayborn were dead for about a day before they were discovered.
Besides the Lyfe Jennings song, I’m not familiar with Brown, but apparently she’s a local celebrity in Milwaukee. Sad.
